ADMINISTRATOR, AUTHOR, COUNSELOR, SPEAKER

As a third-generation Californian, I am passionate about serving California learners. I believe higher education changes lives, and I work to create student-center schools with cutting-edge innovation. My diverse background (degrees in Economics/Business, Theology/Philosophy, and Education/Counseling Psychology) and experience help me create visions that are unique and exciting. Currently, I am the Vice President of Cerritos College and the author of Diversity in Counseling (Brooks/Cole). More importantly, I am the mother of two girls, grandmother of two, and a former foster parent. I currently share my world with my wonderful family in Lakewood, California, and I spend my free time traveling the world.
